Scottie Boi 'Tha Lonestar Playa' was born and raised in the streets of East Texas. He started his career as a rapper at an early age and through determination and life struggles he has been putting it down on the mic ever since. With his southern style and urban charisma his "country rap tunes" have helped this aspiring artist break on to the music scene. As one of the originators of the 'Tru Playa Clicc' (TPC) he started his journey with various performances and venues throughout East Texas during the late 90's.Scottie Boi's motivation to jump in the entertainment industry was fueled by his childhood friend J-Roccya, one of East Texas hottest emcees of label USC (Up Stairs Click). Soon after more inspiration came from other USC members; which included Bigg Hubb, Crain, Barrlean, Hard Nard, Lil Ton and the money motivator himself Lil Tec "Da Rap Kingpin". Scottie Boi stayed on top of his music and always strived for better, but as many new artists can relate to he soon found difficulties and hard times following him. With street and legal issues, Scottie Boi relocated to the Cincinnati, Ohio. It was here where he developed his mixed swagger of southern soul with a midwest twist.Since his debut in Cincinnati, Scottie Boi has stepped on to the scene and has declared it his own. He has touched the city with his artistic lyrics and has commanded the mic and the city as his own; which landed him on the 'Get Right or Get Left' (which premiered at the Majic Johnson Theatre in L.A. in 2001) movie soundtrack with his track titled "Don't Turn Your Back On Me". Scottie Boi's drive has also led him to work with a number of Cincinnati artists, labels, and producers. He has collaborated with promoters such as Fort Chang and Ball or Die Entertainment to aid in the successful shows and venues with well established natives; Khadijah 'The Queen of the City, K. Riley, Showtime, Kenny P., Erica P., Tree B.L.A.Z.E., 'Mr.106 & Park' Moetre, and late Beat Gang artist Bryan 'B-Chubb' Couch.Scottie Boi has been declaring to be one of the hottest, unheard, unsigned artists of his time and he has definitely proven himself through is work ethic and contribution to the Cincinnati Music Society (CMS). His drive and motivation landed him a slot on 101.1 WIZF Buckie Naked Radio's 'Live Freestyle Freenzie' which honored 'The Voice of the Nati' on-air personality BIG GREG BUCKIE NAKED and this was just a scratch on the surface. With his new hit singles 'Riding Candy' and 'So Throwed' off his upcoming project "TEXAS TEA" Scottie Boi plans to take the air waves by storm. There is no doubt that 'Tha Lonestar Playa' has been on a long journey to his success and according to this up and coming artist it is just the begining of his mission.
