About Me

'It's a maruelous feeling when someone says "I want to do this song of yours" because they've connected to it. That's what I'm after'
... Charlie Boulevard

Im pretty sure the first beat Ive ever made was seconds after the moment I learned to snap my fingers. My bass drum a clinched fist against the nearest hard surface. My snare, thumb press firmly against middle finger, one acting as the matchbook and the other , the matchstick.
Im BLVD, Musics youngest son. Born and raised in a small Cincinnati suburb along side three sisters a dog named Trixie. Never really deprived of the finer things, Moms made sure I stayed humble, feed and out of trouble.
That being said, I guessing this is the part were I say Im the hottest producer ever, hardly. Im just turning my thoughts into melody. With a tiny 20 something keyed keyboard I learned to play music. For years tinkered with it, playing songs from the radio. I even took piano lessons for a few years. But it wasnt until resonantly that I learned how to listen to music. What I means is, when most people listen to a song they hear a catchy beat or theyll hear what the artist is trying to say. When I hear a song I hear it differently. A lot of times I have to replay a song because its to much to take in at once. Trying to figure out just why I do or dont like it. Thats why Im so critical of my own music. I just want you to feel what I felt when I made it. I say felt because my tracks invoke a mood and put you in a particular state of mind. In the same way a good writer takes you away from the pages to the sense of the story with his/her words. I instead use chords and harmonies.
And in 300 words, more or less, thats me Charlie Boulevard. Peace... ..
