..............................................I currently Live & work in Calgary AB Canada-yet I was Born & Raised Metal in Regina Sask-I started really being interested in music at a very early age beginning with bands like Ted Nugent,April Wine,Rush,Cheap Trick,Queen(Thanx to my uncles record collection and Ron Dunnett for leavin his Kiss & other records behind when he moved out of my dads rental house!-) & than shortly on bands like Iron Maiden,Judas Priest,Ozzy,Dio,AC/DC,Saxon,Krokus,
Scorpions,Motorhead,Accept than from there it went to Wasp,Crue,Heaven,Tank,Y&T and alot of NWOBHM and of course the mighty VENOM!!! Metallica,Slayer,Megadeth,Anthrax,Raven,Exodus,The Rods,Exciter,Sodom & all that stuff followed.I owe alot to my brother for showin me alot of stuff while we were young as he is 2 years older-also to some great Old School Metallers from Regina like Kelly Schmidt (RIP) & Rob Kashluba who schooled me the ways of metaltude and respect.I Owe the Punk Rock Hardcore scene in the late 80's in Regina for teachin me to Slam Dance and from there I developed my own Thrashing Style!!! I discovered METAL FORCES magazine from the UK and started collecting and reading them like they were my bible-I answered many ads and later placed my own ad in the Penbangers section and corrosponded and Tape Traded with many Ragers from around the globe many still friends to this day..As a Young boy in Regina I spent alot of time hangin at the local independant record stores like Music Plus & Adelphi-Than one day in January of 1987 a new store was opened "Records on Wheels" I was the first ever customer and it became my second home-spending every saturday at the store the owner Dave Kuzenko took me under his wing -starting me out letting me floor watch for free records,shirts,posters & concert tickets.The store was later known as X-Ray Records I continued to work there selling Metal up until the day I moved to Calgary Jan 1st 1999.I owe alot to Dave Kuzenko,he gave me a place to create my identity ,he gave me a place to earn trust & respect and forever i will be indebted! Now I continue to do what I love the most -listen to metal ,collect records,cds and what have you,also I love goin to gigs in as many new places as i can afford and of course to meet new cool metal brothers & sisters in the process.Thanx to everyone who comments on my pics & on my page,I am always grateful-I found that the most benificial thing that I have got out of being in the world wide metal scene is the friendships & brotherhoods I have made over the years. RIP Melvin Loar & Dave & Danny Stephenson-I Love you Brothers. You will always be Hailed by me! The Mighty Canadians Razor said it best-
