we are the 2600 movement, a local group of djs, inspiring producers and event organizers from the baltimore and philadelphia area totaling in over 50 years worth of edm experience.
since our banding in late 2004 we have managed to hold many residencies in balimore night clubs and bars such as goodlove, xs, the depot, shortys, daze (formerly 'the spot' nightclub), etc, played numerous gigs in the md, dc, va area, and also organized a few one-off events such as our 2600 movement tent at 'starscape' 2006 where we had a steady crowd ranging from a few hundred to over a thousand throughout the course of the night, and our first annual all day EDM beach party called 'day camp', 15 minutes away from where starscape was held.
keep an eye out for us in 2007 and the future, we have more things planned to come, such as 'uprise' , that is our crews first collaboration with rushing love promotions from virginia (formerly full circle), it is an edm event to be held in baltimore city every 3 months. im sorry to announce though that as far as we know, there wont be any more 'day camp' until we can find another beach front venue... wish us luck!
