Rock and roll is dead, heavy metal is dead........Two things that Dark Mirror must have never been told.......Besides people have been saying that since OZZY left SABBATH for the first time! The ideas and values behind Dark Mirror have been in the minds of it's members for a long time in the making. Dark Mirror is four like minded musicians coming together from all over Iowa to make heavy music that they were tired of not hearing anywhere.........Dark Mirror is the band that it's members dreamed of creating and taking to the next level.With 2 members just turning old enough to drink(legally), they definatley have a deep respect for generations of rock n roll and heavy metal bands.......Dark Mirror is tired of the trends in metalcore and hardcore and tired of bands that were the true originators of heavy music not getting the respect they deserve........Any old band can get some guy "to scream over their shit", Mark and Eric would not have that......they searched and searced for a vocalist who could add to the music and help them find the sound they were truly looking for.........Mark had stated they would have to look for a vocalist from or in another country to get what they really wanted..........Turns out he was right in a way......they found Alonso........ from South America....... and even more importantly he could sing! He was even formally in an Iron Maiden cover band in Chile........He proved to be the right person to front the sound they wanted........Dark Mirror believe in heavy melodic music....... They believe in live shows being very important.........Dark Mirror blends their mix of classic rock, traditional heavy metal, eighties metal, thrash metal, power metal, and various other styles, to make something refreshing and new......Get ready to hear something different.......Something dark........
