Añadir a mi perfil | Más Videos Underneed was born in 2004 and all band members are originally from the Basque Country, let..s say the north of Spain. In the Summer of 2005 Underneed won the yearly San Sebastian Pop-Rock music competition, and it was its prize what made the recording of their first album, "Arrival", possible.The album, which was produced by the band itself, was recorded in 3 days and with a very low budget however, "Arrival" sounds more than fine and it displays a nice variety of styles... Not having a record label behind, Underneed have sold several copies in their hometown, San Sebastian, and thanks to another competition their "self-produced" record won the chance of making it to the shelves of the hippest and newest record store in San Sebastian, Fnac, where "Arrival" became the top seller for the entire two months of the competition.The performances have always been the engine that makes Underneed keep roaring wherever they go. Each gig gives sense and strength to the music Underneed is all about. Of course, the audience is most important, since they're an inspiration in every step the band is taking, and little by little we, Underneed, do feel that we are walking in the right direction. Se mantuvo la raiz de la palabra, es decir UNDER y se le añadió NEED, en lugar de NEATH, creando así un juego de palabras sin alterar prácticamente su pronunciación, pero cambiando su significado, ya que UNDERNEED significaría algo así como “bajo la necesidad”. El nombre dio juego para crear un logotipo que se asemeja al del Metro, estableciendo un paralelismo entre la palabra UNDERGROUND (metro) y UNDERNEED.
