Singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, wireless mucky-muck, quantum searcher, envisioner, manifester, traveler, & best of all Moca (mother of cody allen).Raised in super music biz environment. Mom was only woman to play trumpet in a Big Name America Dance Band, with the Woody Herman Orchestra - Dad was agent to most of the greats of Rock 'n' Roll - and "discovered" many: Fats Domino, Ray Charles, Chuck Berry, Clyde McPhatter, Laverne Baker, Drifters, Platters, Frankie Lymon, Little Richard, Little Anthony. Grew up hanging out back stage at the Apollo. Later Dad also handled jazz greats Louis Armstrong, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Lionel Hampton, Maynard Ferguson... I've spent great years in So Cal and NYC making music and touring. Good times playing with, singing backgrounds for – and opening for or working with – many of my artistic heroes: Joe Cocker, B.B. King, Rod Stewart, Bill Medley, Bobby Redfield, Tony Sarno, Dave Perkins, Craig Krampf, Smithereens, Sandra Bernhardt, Carl Anderson, Billy Vera, Kevin Jenkins, Atticus Finch, John Harden, Jimmy Hunter, John McCurry, Art Munson, Dana Thomas, Billy Sprouse, Pete Wickersham, Jimmy Sims, Jeff Golub, Jack Sonni... more...Squeezed in a coupla CDs of my own, with my band "The Road Home" on ABC/Dunhill in 70's, Dee Archer Band on Marconi in '98 & '99 - and a near miss with the music biz legend (and great guy) John Kalodner backing us for the newly formed Geffen label in the 80s...Getting ready to "rhythm & roll" it again in LA...
