Giving emo kids something to cry about!

About Me

Welcome to the TCSP myspace music page. This page is updated regularly to promote upcoming punk/Oi!/hard core/psychobilly/ and related ALL-AGES shows in the Twin Cities. Our shows generally consist of a nationally recognized touring act supported by opening local DIY bands which gives our local scene an opportunity to flourish rather than buying "packaged" label tours. By "friending" this page expect to see bulletins regarding upcoming events and offered free MP3 music from past and present TCSP affiliated bands, usually a teaser of the shows we've got coming next.
Please feel encouraged to sign up for the censorship-free forum at our homepage, www.theTCSP.com, where loads of information regarding our promotions group and crew history can be found as well as pics from past shows, a comprehensive flyer gallery dating back to 1998, and more.
TCSP shows are always cheap, all-ages with a 21+ booze area, and ponx as fukk. We've been giving emo kids something to cry about since they were called indy, so be prepared for slam dancing!

TCSP (Twin Cities Skins & Punks) is a street level organization of skins and punx who give a shit but won't take any! We are committed to a variety of public endeavors which encourage growth of the elements we enjoy that are fundamentally intertwined with the punk and skinhead subcultures. As our member base subscribe to a VERY diverse set of political beliefs we find that it is impossible to declare a concise political agenda. As a result we work with a wide variety of underground bands and ask that politics are left off the stage. We offer our services as a DIY booking and promotions group for punk and related subculture bands, and nothing more. So if your band fits our style and you want to have a kick ass time in the Twin Cities drop us a line and let's get something together!

Does your band already have a show booked in Minneapolis? TCSP offers a vicious street team that undeniably impacts attendance. With a decade of experience behind us we know the ropes. And by sticking to our focus we've got the market cornered. If you've already got a show booked but aren't so sure about the local support contact us, and if TCSP affiliated bands are interested in supporting your show, we'd love to lend a hand with advertisement and promotion.
Influences: It saddens us when hard working DIY promoters who actually give the kids and bands the best shows and bargain get passed over for easy booking in venues that don;t care about our scene. Places who take no interest in running or promoting the show properly. The bands get the shaft and so do the kids. TCSP has a history of giving the scene the best bang for their buck since early '98 when efforts were localized at the legendary Inferno. Since then TCSP has grown to host countless bands and styles and have turned each show into the best it could have possibly been under any circumstances. Never has a band or a participant left a TCSP show without getting their money's worth and a far better event than they would have gotten through any other local promoters. Check out some of the shows we've hosted HEREStanding behind this declaration is an impressive organization with nearly a decade of show booking, promotion, security, and management experience specifically focused on the punk scene and associated subcultures. Weve got several local venuest ow ork with and inarguably the most vicious street team in the Midwest, who's efforts impact shows to an extreme degree. If you want to play Minneapolis, having TCSP in your corner usually doubles attendance regardless of how well known the band may already be or where you might be playing. We are that ferocious about our marketing/promotion and take each show, regardless of a bands notoriety, very seriously. Our only interest is the betterment of our scene and a chance to cultivate local talent while having a great time.If your band would like to come through please get ahold of us or forward this to your booking agent as wed like to get dates reserved as far in advance as possible. We work with contracts and riders, offer lodging, and always throw a raging party after the show! Take a look at the rest of the site and feel encouraged to contact any of the bands featured in our events section, theyll tell you that TCSP is the best game in town. Don't believe us? See for yourself:
Sounds Like: "TCSP has always booked great shows for The Briggs. They have helped make Minneapolis our second home!" Chris - The Briggs

"TCSP will hook your ass up. Not only a great show, but with booze and women. Find out for yourself. Cheers fuckfaces!" Meggers - The Casualties

"The Twin Cities have a great fucking scene. And a huge part of that is my man Daego. I have played the Minneapolis/St. Paul area several times. The times that we worked with TCSP were honest fucking punk shows. First off they knows their venue, they know their city and they know their scene. He is always prepared for any event that might take place at one of his shows. Second, TCSP is "hands on". You wont find them just doing paperwork on a gig and not attending to make sure the bands and kids are doing well. Third and most important, theyre punk rockers. TCSP believes in DIY and are there to work with bands to make sure that the show goes as good as possible. Shit my band, The Forgotten, would have been nowhere and would never have been able to tour if it wasn't for people who believed in DIY. I say cheers to you and I hope for TCSP to receive all the success they deserve." Gordy - The Forgotten, Lars & The Bastards, Rancidradio co-host
