She began composing on bass, guitar/vocals and piano at age 12, with her older brother, and formed the band "Feeling Numb," an alternative/grunge rock band. After leaving early 2005, she began "Instead of Hearts", an "alternative/soul/rock" solo project. Growing up mainly on the East coast, Meg Myers headed West for LA in late 2006. Her sound and lyrics appeal to an unusually wide range of listeners. Her impassioned performances are like herds of screaming monkeys grabbing at your soul...you won't want to miss it!
