Woot!

About Me

I enjoy non-sequiturs, and beef. I do appreciate a healthy sense of humor, or at least someone who will laugh at constant silly jokes. I enjoy writing when I get the chance, which isn't often enough lately. I am still fascinated by rainbows and unusual potholes. My favorite invention is the "burrito," and my favorite temperature is "warm." I like kitsch and unpopular popular culture. I'm an office manager at a charity for the blind. Some of our work involves preparing "descriptive audio" to accompany films and TV shows, which is very cool. Age is adjusted slightly for searches but am a child of 1960, get guessed at 1970, so split the difference. Randomness: Goofy, creative, kitsch, karaoke, kind, kooky, koala (okay, enough "k" words), vanilla, rich and creamy frosting, geek, french horn, scribble, bubbles, hung by the chimney with care; mellow, absurd, Letterman, Conan, Beatles, Bangles, Simpsons, Disney, laughing, faithful, loyal, sturdy, strength of character, clever, strawberries and Grover.

My Interests

TV, films, Siamese cats, writing, reading, internet, swap meets, weird old cartoons

I'd like to meet:

Someone who is resourceful, smart, funny, cute, maybe even adorable; likes TV theme songs, knows how to play the triangle (or is willing to learn). Should be taller than me, as tall as me, or shorter than me. Someone who likes sweet-natured Siamese cats and thinks that Andy Kaufman may still be alive. Someone who occasionally wonders about things like how they make toothbrushes. Someone who enjoys Weird Al in spite of her better judgment. Someone who gets moony-eyed over Harry Nilsson songs. Oh, and it's a total plus if you know how to spell Janeane Garofalo correctly.

One of my favorite people in the world!
