Writing about yourself is Lame... that said... I'm a Photographer and Filmmaker by trade, but always a storyteller by passion. (It is me in the pic, but the important thing is that I directed it.)(If only I looked that intimidating all the time.)And I do all of the photography for Veronica Varlow's website, DangerDame.com .) ...Sorry again guys, but its PIN-UP CLOTHING, not porn...I also directed photography for a stop motion short which screened at Sundance this year. The director can't put it online yet because it is still doing the festival circuit, but soon hopefully. I shot my friend Zina's most recent music video which won at some kind of international horror film festival, not too long ago. I think he is on myspace somewhere, I'll see if I can find him .I know that Martha Stewart has 1260 window panes in her loft.I used to work on a lot of reality TV shows, but I don't watch reality TV. Ironic really, I guess. glad I'm not working them as much.I work within a ring of tremendously talented people, some seriously bad ass mother fuckers. I reccomend them all. Most of my friends have become very good at what they do. Some of them are nearing the best in their respective fields (from puppeteers to cinematographers--artsy bad ass motherfuckers). But we are all still waiting for the big one. Every project we do we become better and better, stronger and smarter and hungrier.But what's with the water dreams? I was raised in Montana and the interior of Alaska, I've never sailed, I don't surf. I was a wildland firefighter before I came to New York City, where do all the water dreams come from?

My Interests

Photography ( Things to Look At ), Film, Sexy clothes for men, (I wear canvas pants and a T-shirt at work, but I clean up good. Why is so hard to find cool clothes for guys?), Mountains and Forests, Burningman, Rubulad, Empanadas and those squishy little japanese bean cake thingies (I'll have to check for the actual name the next time I get one).I'm a lover of adventures and twists, and tiny moments and emotions.If i ever get the time I want to learn how to silk screen.I like working with my hands, building things, tinkering.

I'd like to meet:

BRING ON THE SHOW!!!What ever you've got, bring it to the table. I want to live a 99 year carnival then die.I like to meet adventures, artists, scientists, thinkers. I love fresh perspectives. I'm always looking out for useful talent or craftsmen or people who just inspire. I like co-conspirators.
That said, I totally suck at meeting people. Seriously, if my social life were dependent on meeting strangers at bars, I would die of loneliness.So this is me:(My grandmother says I was trying to see my own profile in the mirror of the photo booth)

HA HA HA HA HA... I just accidentally wiped out my entire 40gb music collection, everything I've been listening to since highschool... isn't that funny? I ran a data recovery prgram and was able to get about 1/20th of the songs back. But without any titles! So whats left of my music is permanently on shuffle... . The Postal Service . Johnny Cash . Tom Waits . Broken Social Scene . The Pixies . Built to Spill . NIN . Ministry . Marilyn Manson . TV on the Radio . David Bowie . Uncle Tupelo . The Dresden Dolls . Stellastar . Built to Spill . Joan Jett......And so much more that I can't remember right now.

Movies:

There a a zillion 'pretty' good movies, But you cannot go wrong with these: Wages of Fear, Aguirre--wrath of god, Magnolia, Bladerunner, The Princess Bride, The Unbelievable Truth, Time of the Gypsies, La Femme Nikita, City of Lost Children and Delicatessen, The Bicycyle Thief, Brazil, Taxi Driver, Rushmore...

Television:

I've been on a 10 year No TV diet. My life is so crazy I can't imagine how anyone has the time to watch our national average of 4 hours a day.

Books:

I'm the slowest reader ever. I'm on the first book of the unabridged Mahabharata, right now... 2400 pages to go.I read The Master and Marguerita recently, it was very good.
