Hi, folks. I just added a new tune called The Other Woman. . It was co-written with Joe Runyon at Double-edged Music, a great lyricist, friend, and all around nice guy. The tune was written around a lyric about his granddaughter, Ashton. Been great to work with him! I started playing guitar when I was 12, and played pretty steadily until I was about 30. at which time I decided it was time to grow up and get a real job. Instead, I became a paramedic with EMSA Ambulance in Tulsa. That was 23 years ago. After a 15 year hiatus from playing, I've recently been blessed with the opportunity to buy a little recording stuff, and start playing again.
I'm amazed (and intimidated) by the incredible degree of musicianship just floating around out there. i'd very much like to hear from musicians of all kinds and learn from you.
My background has been largely rock and roll, with some blues, jazz, and a little classical thrown in.
These days, I do most of my playing for Yahweh. My life is very full and rewarding, and I spend most of my time either doing the paramedic thing, or enjoying the company of my wife, Elaine, and our 7 children. My quiver is full.
Due to advanced age and decrepitude, I'm not looking for a career in music, although I would enjoy an occasional collaboration with someone musically and philisophically compatible. Ishould point out that Blues Riff is just that. It's not a real song, just a jam I did with myself while I was learning to use my new equipment. I'll post some more stuff, as soon as I find time to write and record it. Thank you for listening
