Admiral Snot was born in Cleveland Ohio and raised in Lima Ohio, Cleveland Ohio, and Meadville Pennsylvania. He was introduced to some of the greatest music of the 70's in his early childhood thanks to his mother. During the 80's, he was influenced by both metal and rap, which led to club style musics during his party days in the 90s.
He also knew a few of the local metal bands in the Columbus Ohio area, and when a good friend's band Zenithfreak was lacking a bass player he decided to attempt to take up the bass spot, being as that he knew their songs and was at all their practices anyway. Within 2 weeks they were playing gigs and he played with them for over a year in the Columbus bar band scene. He eventually left Zenithfreak and joined with a band called Bloodbutton, as well as a cover band called Ashes to Dust. After a short stint in those bands he joined with Chiseltongue. He had a lot of fun with these bands, and is still good friends with the members of each act.
Eventually he moved to Detroit and began writing his own electronic based compositions. He also became hooked up with a collaboration site, and there he recorded Hundred Ton Assault Mech with Steve Sledge, an amazing guitarist from Germany. Hundred Ton is a fan song dedicated to Battletech/Mechwarrior gaming, which was a loved pastime of his.
Admiral Snot's style is a variance of range, from dance/techno to rock and metal to orchestral with a gritty rap/metal style vocal sound. He is not one to limit himself to a single genre. Music comes in many flavors, after all, and the Admiral likes to sample the menu.
Currently he is still a slave to music, generating electronic compositions for all to hear. His goals are big bucks, and no Whammies. If you like what you hear, feel free to drop him a line!
