[VSI]
Kanariss and Stefan got to know each other in springtime 1992, Stefan gave a gig with his past EBM-project Dusseldorf in Warsaw, where Kanariss was active as a DJ. They decided to create their own band.
Just 2 months after the meeting they as [Virtual Space Industrial] stood in a professional studio to record two tracks. These should appear on some EBM-compilations released by a local label - but that never happened. This and some personal reasons let the band quit their work for a while.[VSI] was reactivated at the end of 1998. In the following years the band presented itself with its 100% EBM-Arrangement in many of the clubs in Warsaw. In March 2002 finally "Angel Of Death" mini e.p. got released by a local label on which a guest vocalist showed his qualities.Musically their style could be roughly defined as EBM/Darkwave. It´s deeply electronic on the one hand linked to clear, rough and highly melodic vocals on the other. Even when some influences are obvious, [VSI] worked out an own style and sound during the last time.Debut album "Gehenna" mastered by X-Fusion was released on the 21st of March, 2005 by the German label Pandailectric and distributed in Europe via Alive. "Gehenna" got very good reviews among a lot of international magazines like Side-Line, Orkus, Zillo, Sonic Seducer and Dark Heart called us even "newcomer of 2005". Unfortunatelly few months later our label Pandailectric stopped its work what made us to look for another label. We have talked to other labels and we hope that everything would come to a final statement soon. Soon you´ll get some snippets of our new stuff at our homepage www.vsi.pl and furthermore another 4 remixes. At the moment you can get the following remixed tracks online (192kbps) in our multimedia section: "Holy Children"; Right Hand Of God"; "Hope" and "Liar". These remixes have been mastered by X-Fusion.I made this music player at MyFlashFetish .com.
