Defecto Nagrobek

Defecto Nagrobek has existed over one and a half decade. The combination of guttural German vocals and simple yet catchy melodies is the trademark of the band. Harmonies with unexpected "octave jumps" are unmistakable Defecto, and even that the arrangements are sparse and playful the vocals are guttural and menacing (even though lyrics often includes hymns to the spring and love themes).The album, "Tanzen wie ein Traum", was recorded at Beacon 6 studios and produced in cooperation with Clark Nova. Simple variations in sequencer patterns and heavy drums are accompanied by the unmistakably Klaushof dialect. Among the songs on this album the jazzy "Bis Morgen", the catchy "Ich töte Drachen für Dir" and the EBM retro song "Der Hund" is worth mentioning.Defecto moved from their former studio in 2004 to be able to integrate with the production unit at Skogen 40 (staffed by Mechanikk). However, this led to some turbulence and caused the group to take a break, something that led into side projects and other activities. Since the autumn of 2005 the singer of the act brought the heritage further but the melodies and harmonies are more central compared to previous productions. The recording of the new album is now completed. The mixing will continue and continue and continue and continue and continue and continue and continue and continue and continue and continue until planned release, TBD 2009? (Mechanikk).I will continue to post draft versions as soon as I have something worth to post. As always I have Clark Nova by my side to bring order and spread magic....
