Emerging out of the mid 80's Oklahoma punk hardcore scene Jack went from throwing all ages shows in his backyard to performing in various underground bands. His first sound being raw punk hardcore, his highschool buddy introduced him to a drummachine when he found himself without a drummer and his interests in electronic instruments started there. This led to an interest in music created with new technology and concepts and placed him the late 80's Acid House Movement. Hanging out at Clubs, Jack used his punk D.I.Y. skills to sell home screenprinted "acieed" t-shirts out of the trunk of his car, and found himself offered a job as a Graphic Artist and Club Director/Designer of one the first Warehouse Clubs in OKC, 1989. This close to DJ culture and live electronic performance drew Jack into Djing and Producing. Eventually releasing his first record in 1994 as Pirate Audio "Gifts Ov Alien Technology" on SF Based Label Visible. This Heavy sought after 12" charted in Club Life, Hardsync, and XLR8R Fanzines and the Watts top 20 in Italy's Discoid Tradezine. He has since Created an international cult following with his productions and remix work for labels like Visible SF, Queercore SF, Invisible Chicago, and the France based Spiral Tribe Label Network 23. Jack Has spent the last 15 years deep in the renegade travelling techno soundsystem culture touring as a dj and liveset with Soundsystems- Spiral Tribe (97), S.P.A.Z. 95-97, and as an active member of The Pirate Audio Soundsystem (1991-current). In 1995 Jack became the resident studio tech at Bloody Angle Studios located deep in the heart of San Fransisco's notorious Hunters Point. Home of Asphodel Records Studio, owned and operated by Naut Human. Here he was introduced to harddisk recording and high end digital studio technology. Now at the age of 35, back in his hometown, OKC, Jack is combining all of his influences into new channels that include softsynth/fx vst creation and circuit bending anything and everything that can produce a tone. Live performances include his softsynths and bent/modded instruments. His dj sets include multiple mediums mixed from vinyl, mp3, cd, minidisk and consists of mostly original material and collective collaborations. Jack can usually be caught live at any of the various Pirate Audio shows they have been throwing for over the last 15 years.
