Your Shitty Band Is Not My Friend

About Me

It's been a long time since I updated this. What hasn't changed is that I still am 100% sure that I will not add you (that is, unless I know you of course!). I decided this a long time ago, as this profile got really bad and I couldn't even find anyone I actually did know!
This is the reason that I have a 2nd profile: PhotographN.com . If you are a band or someone interested in music and/or my concert photography, please go to this profile and add me there!

Music is my life!

These are all of the things that I have done (or continue to do) to stay involved in the music scene:
1) 2007: 229 shows attended!
2) Concert Photography. Often, I can be seen taking concert photography using my Canon EOS 400 Rebel XTi, and my photos are displayed on my new website www.PhotographN.com . PLEASE check it out!
3) Underground METAL Radio. From 1993 to May 2006, I was a Metal Music Director and DJ at college radio, community radio, and even pirate radio! These include:
01/1993 - 12/1996 -- WBUL , University of South Florida, Tampa
11/1996 - 11/1997 -- Pirate Radio 102.1 FM , Tampa *
01/1998 - 12/1999 -- WBUL 1620 AM , University of South Florida, Tampa
02/2000 - 10/2000 -- WMNF 88.5 FM , Tampa **
05/2001 - 05/2006 -- KCRH 89.9 FM , Chabot College, Hayward, CA
* (125 watts; the BEST radio experience ever!)
** (70,000 watt community radio station)
4) Work at Concert Venues. I am part of the security crew at The Fillmore , The Warfield , and The Independent SF .
5) Attend Other Venues. I am a regular at Slim's , Great American Music Hall , and Bottom of the Hill .
6) Collect Guitar Picks. In the summer of 1991, after high school, I started going to shows and collecting guitar picks from the bands. I have approximately 6,000 different Guitar Picks! Many can be seen at my website www.Guitar-Picks.com . I also collect other music memorabilia like passes, laminates, drumsticks and autographs.
7) Play Guitar. I play rhythm guitar and should be in your band!
~* In Conclusion *~ This combination of attending an average of 200+ shows yearly, combined with my access to new metal music, concert venues and even band personnel (on occasion), I have forged friendships with promoters, venue owners, venue managers, tour managers, guitar techs, drum techs, and even the band themselves... SO WILL SOMEBODY PLEASE TAKE ME ON TOUR WITH THEM NOW?!
