Hey there MySpace friends, my name is Mick Flaire, but when I call into The Brickhouse on FOX Game Time React with J. T. the Brick, heard on KNBR 1050 in San Francisco, Monday through Friday, 7:00 pm to 11:00pm PST, I go by the handle "Mick N. Hayward" ********************************************That's because the very first time I called the program after attending a Giants/Dodgers baseball game at Candlestick Park on my Birthday (June 22nd) in 1997, the call screener (Chris "The Captain" Blye) asked me my name, and I replied "Mick", and when he asked me where I was calling from, I said "Hayward". **********************So when J. T. took my very first call to The Brickhouse, he said, "... and now out to Mick in Hayward", and the rest is history, 11 years worth! ********************The reason for calling sports talk radio in the first place was to pump up all the Northern California San Francisco Giants fans listening in on the Giants' flagship station, KNBR 680, The Sports Leader! *****************I'm also a musician, an MC, a DJ, a graphic artist, and a statistician. *****************************I sing & play a variety of instruments, including the Theramin, in a San Francisco based band called Dog Beaver. *******To find out more on Dog Beaver, please check us out at http://www.myspace.com/dogbeaver ***************************************Since January 1976,I have hosted the annual Hayward Battle of the Bands at the Chabot College Performing Arts Center, put on by the Hayward Area Recreation & Park District.*********************************************Althou gh there have been many "Battle of the Bands" throughout the history of popular music, The Hayward Battle of the Bands is the longest running annual Battle of the Bands in the world going back to it's inception in 1964. ****************************************************I DJ once a month in the Poster Room Lounge @ The Fillmore in San Francisco, as "Prof. Phil Moore, Jr." playing vinyl records from the 1950's through the 1980's on my imaginary radio program, "Just For The Record", on my imaginary radio station "KBGP, 98.7 FM, in San Francisco, 1/10th of a degree higher than normal!" ****************************Under the name "U.
