About Me

there's so much to say about me, but i'm generally too lazy to write about myself. basically i'm doing (or trying to do) since i made my mind up in 2003 when i started taking education courses. i wanted to teach while living overseas. even after i graduated in december of 2005, i hesitated and instead took a month long trip to europe (it rocked btw). after months of lousy two bit jobs at home including 2 temp positions, one of which was basically grading elementary school kids' state exams and the other making phone calls to architects offices, and working at a gas station for 3 days, i finally made my decision to move to korea. it, of course, is a big step for anyone to just pack up and move. i had no idea what it would be like in this country or what kind of situation i would get into, but i had to try it. i consider myself very lucky and headstrong because i was on the verge of giving up after my first job quickly disintegrated within the first week. i spent the next 2 weeks living on my newly made friend's floor and pondering my future. i couldn't leave based on one bad experience especially since i've been wanting to this for so long. i made the right decsion and ended up getting a job in seoul. now that that second job has come and gone and so has a third one as well, i was again in the same position. i knew from then on i had to roll with the "k" punches. i've definitely become a lot stronger in the process and can share my crazy stories with any interested parties. now, finally, after months of searching, i found the job here that i truly enjoy.
