(and then some!!!) Michael was born in the heart of the southern United States in the suburbs of Birmingham, AL. He grew up in a picture perfect and close knit family. So any of his craziness is all his own doing...

By day, Michael is a Mechanical & Computer Science Engineer working as a Project Manager in Construction Program Management for Volkert & Associates.

But at night, Michael is a working musician.He plays with South Saturn Delta, the extraordinary Southern Rock & Blues band.

And watch for 2nd Helping shows around town as well. This new twist is an "unplugged" style two-man show with Eskew and Josh Butler of South Saturn Delta.
As an accomplished keyboard player, who can sing lead or harmony and plays acoustic & electric guitar, he has also become a consummate "side-man" on the local music scene! He often plays as a part of the 4-piece version of Mike Latham's funky party band Livewire In addition, he plays records with Josh Elliot's original band Shotgun Runaway. So Michael is as active as possible!Michael has a beautiful wife (Wanda) and they have 4 kids (Nicholas, Jeremy, Shannon & Branden). Whenever Michael is not working or playing music, you can rest assured they can be found at their place fishing and playing at Lewis Smith Lake.
