About Me

Once upon a time, in a land far, far away.......something happened somewhere, and someday someone will tell you about it!
A LITTLE ABOUT E:
I write, I draw, I attempt to play guitar, and sing (some may have very unique opinions about that one)! I have a variety of interests & talents and prefer to give each their quality time. I like making up songs and poems for people and surprising them with something funny or unique and probably should've gone into writing Jingles for a career. Need a catch-phrase, I've probably got one for you and that's why I'm weird.
I like reading, enjoy believing in a cause & making people smile, like everything holistic and alternative, new foods, cool people, music, and sports. I am fascinated by the unexplained, other realms, & working out.
People who can teach me new things, make me laugh, or tickle me usually end up my friends. I love my husband because he just gets me, my family because they love me, my friends because they put up with me, and my pencils that take the brunt of what I possess in creativity.
I carry that unique quality of having the attributes of a completely serious person, and the jokster with a sense of humor; and usually adapt to situations as I see fit. I can be known to be a little goofy, but also one of the most focused individuals you could meet with an impressive will-power. I'm usually the person that can get the job done, with a little interjection of goofiness to lighten the air. I'm honest, don't care for bullies, choose to stand up for the 'weaker', believe in cause and effect, Karma as penance, and the eternal space that exists for self-improvement. I have an extensive arsenal of sports & music trivia so light-treaders who ask; beware, I've forewarned you!
Who would I like to meet? Maybe someone who can still breakdance!
I'd like to meet:
Artists, art lovers, lovers, inventors, ghosts, anyone who has experienced the paranormal, graffitos, philanthropists, math geeks, martial artists, weirdos, wanderers, fluffers, fancy pants, sexy ushers, jaded waitresses, manic-depressive assistants, bicycle fanatics, derby girls, rebels, loners, hamburglars, whiskey thieves, time bandits, safe-crackers, computer hackers, phone phreakers, dreamers, lemurs, cougars, pumas, ocelots, party animals, funny pharmacists, perverted truck drivers, naughty librarians, happy janitors, frustrated office managers, caped crusaders, ex-presidential candidates, sugar daddies, sugar mamas, sticker makers, heart breakers, baristas, touristas, farmers, charmers, hand-warmers, Morgan Spurlock, Alfred Hitchcock, and your mom, if she's nice.
For the most part I like meeting interesting, creative people | Someone who exists in three dimensions, four if you include time, eleven if you believe in String Theory and its curled-up dimensions | someone who fully appreciates Newton's Third Law of Motion | someone who has parking at their house | someone who is available | someone who smells like that wonderful clean smell of fresh cut grass or laundry & soap.
ERIN'S THOUGHTS JUST FOR HER FRIENDS:
I am fascinated by 'the space between',whether people or protons, it's not about the particles, it's about the relationship between them. I believe that everything as we know it, is about this.
LIFE IS AMAZING

My Interests

The way new markers smell, the composition of pop rocks, swiss bank accounts, phenomena, the universe, screenplays, botched diamond heists, my tatooo gun, my craving for travel & new experiences, caffeine, the letter S, shiny objects, snooze buttons, Stoli, single-malted Scotch, Playboy, and good ol' tomfoolery!

Seriously: Family & friends, my husband, guitar & tatoo gun, working out, WWII fighter planes, testing my will, the outdoors, adventure, art, laughter, music, comedy, reading, challenges, all sports (baseball mainly), history, culture.....loving life!!

"Knowledge has three degrees—opinion, science, and illumination. The means or instrument of the first is sense; of the second, dialectic; of the third, intuition." ~~Plotinus (204-270 C.E.)

Music:

Very hard to even begin to eclipse the range I have here, music's a big part of me. Sometimes too many is still not enough. I enjoy everything from Handel, Purcell, and Dvorak to Soundgarden, Guano Apes, and RATM. Everything from Beasties, Madlib, and Mos Def to Dead Can Dance, Holly Golightly, and Juliette & the Licks on through to Seger, Tito & Tarantula, The Eels and Archie Bronson Outfit to The Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and Buddy Guy.

I enjoy a lot of Indie Labels when it comes to music and movies. It seems there is a broader spectrum of artists in their raw element and true nature of expression and free ability before major labels come into play.

Movies:

Vaudeville, Indie films, classic westerns, huge fan of the classics, need not forget Sci-Fi & Horror

QUICK RUN AT SOME:
The Good, the Bad, & the Ugly, The Guns of Navarone, The Magnificent Seven, The Street Fighter, Manos: The Hands of Fate, Stark Trek The Wrath of Khan, Coffy, Bottle Rocket, the original Pink Panther movies, Rushmore, 300, The Burbs

Any Romero, Sergio Leone, Wes Anderson, or Tarantino film..............definitely others, but these were the first to come to mind.

I enjoy movies that can hit me in the face with some genuine writing because I miss good storylines.

I'm a sucker for movies that take a chance to be different ..........offer me some pineapple when the rest are serving meat and potatoes.

Television:

Ghosthunters, The Henry Rollins Show, LA Ink, The Shield, History Channel, Sportscenter, and miss series shows like Voyagers, Buck Rogers, and The Secrets of Isis.

Books:

Ghost Hunting, My Life With Groucho/Growing Up With the Marx Brothers, Black Coffee Blues, I Am Legend, The Kid Who Climbed Everest, The Labyrinth of Solitude, Leaves of Grass, A Clockwork Orange, Last Voyage of the Lucette, Facing the Frozen Ocean, In the Spirit of Crazy Horse, The Zapatista Reader (Thanks Adam!), The Art of Living (Epictetus)

Heroes:

The Marx Brothers by far!

Some other cool people:
Ralph Waldo Emerson, Ernest Shackleton, Joseph Kittinger, Pericles, Walt Whitman, Sonny Chiba, Florenz Ziegfeld, H.G. Wells & Mr. Kotter.
