About Me

Hey!! How are you today? I had several requests to post a picture of myself. I have posted one (in the "My Photos" album). Now you can see why I held off. This profile is a work in progess as am I. A little about me: I'll start with weaknesses... 1. Pie, be it blueberry, apple or pecan, I'm helpless before the power of pie with homemade crust. 2. Coffee, hot strong and good. "COFFEE IS VICTORY!!" Best shouted by a Klingon Warrior.(letting my geek flag fly now) 3. A well made beer, I don't drink a lot of it but certain ales, stouts, porters... Gotta like a beer you can't see through! 4. A tendency to press the shutter button on my camera a lot. Seriously, if a person comes home from a hiking trip with carpal tunnel syndrome (localized to the button finger), this could be a problem... People may need to consider an intervention here. 5. Cinnamon apple cider slushies... What? you never had one? I'm having one now... It's divine. Put ice, cider and cinnimon (to taste) in a blender, grind, crush, blend, puree, beat, whip or whatever... drink. It's a very forgiving recipie. There are more but this is a start.Strengths... lets see... Creativity, curiosity, open mindedness. Being that I tend to take a lot of pictures, the law of averages would have at least a few of them turning out to be good ones. This is a first draft, there will be more... Geez, While I'm on that subject, why is there no spell check??? Some of us need spell check!!! My content is fine, at least I think so. It's just that my spelling, punctuation and grammar take creative license to new levels.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

I'm here to meet up with friends- past, present and future. A few general things.Do you consider curiosity to be an integral part of intelligence ?? This is a big one. Paper degrees are nice, a thing to be proud of in fact, however intelligence is not limited to those who posess them.Do you enjoy creating? That is do you like to draw, paint, write, make music, Take pictures, make pies? (sorry, writing in the first box got me stuck on the pie thing)MMMMMM Pie. Ok I am back... Basically a strong artistic drive is very important.Do you want to continue learning, growing, exploring? I think this is an important question. It is not important as to the extent of your travels or your adventures to date. It is simply important to have the desire to explore and to learn in the future. This is a start. My typing finger is going to rest now. This profile has been produced using the Christopher Columbus typing method... Find it and land on it.

Political truth

"We need the candidate with answers." I can't count the number of times I've heard that in politics. It isn't that I'm not good with numbers. It's just that the number is so astronomically huge that ...

The blind date

I told them most insistently that I don't date. I told them. "But you should" they said. These people are very long time friends and since I don't really have a lot of those I feel the need to respect...

Two things that made me a pain in Philosophy class.

Once, long ago I took Philosophy, more than one class of it to be exact, but as exactness is relative I guess I am saying that I am being inexact... at least to a degree. J One day the Professor...
