what can I say,I got my intrest in music at an early age of 7,I was in my church choir downsouth in the state of Georgia.Although I was born in harlem I was raised in the south,I moved back to NYC near the age of 10-11 to be with my mother and to get a better education,I wanted to get into the music industry but had no Idea where to start nor did I know anyone in NYC other then my family. so I just hung out went to school and got an education,in my senior year of high school I studied music, drama and photography. I entered a songwriters contest from school which offerd a chance to work on a score of a broadway musical,I didn't win first prize but I did get an aduition. At which point, I got 3 call backs,on the third call back the name of the musical was reveled and I was offered a small part in "Cats(the first run)" it was great, one of the best times I ever had.I made a few friends and met a lot of influential pepople, the run was short.I was inspired to do more aduitions and landed other parts in a "Harlem Renaissance" & "Mama I wanna Sing 2" the experience was unreal.I saw what it was like up close as to what went in to a musical production for broadway.I did however have some idea of the depths of hard work, parctice & rehearsal that goes into a high school performance, after doing a few high school plays and talent shows. But, I was 18 with a part on Boardway, it was small but I was there I saw and learn a lot.I graduated high school and continued my education and was introduced to computers.I earned a degree in Computer Science and A Double Cerification in computer technology, including a Certificate with Micorsoft Solution Developer,I continued my writing and singing through a underground connection that came to me through a strange outting.I was noticed doing an open mic at a club in NYC by the same guy who noticed me in philly about 4 month prior and was offered a development deal, where I was able to release my first 2 singles, "Will You Love Me" & "Lovers for Life" which I wrote, they both did pretty well but I was not happy with the production.I wanted to be more involved in it but I felt lefted in the dark. so I steped back out of the game and tried to decide if that was what I really wanted..I already knew the answer. so I began to learn the Business side of music, How to handle my business and make sure I was getting what I was suppose to get. And with my Independent Label I've release my first 3 singles with a follow up album and negotiation of the signing of my first arstist at!!.
