If not for Hip Hop ??? I, Joe Kerr am glad I never have to answer that question ... I AM a diversely innovative artist who finds genuine enjoyment in pushing the barriers of what is commercially and socially acceptable in music .... I was born in Chicago, IL before his family migrated to Oahu, Hawaii the early part of my life ... My experience with the beautiful diversity of the islands influenced my music immencely ... It all started with singin in the church, apperently back then I had one hell of a singing voice, well some things change ... I started rappin back in jr. high with the homies Sam Spade and Saleem : The Untouchables .... Around that time "Freestyle Fellowship released "Inner City Griots" and my music was forever changed ... I began to experiement with different styles, rhyming patterns and deliveries, and began to create the style I have now ... I rhymed with numerous crews after that, including "21 B.C. Circle, N.F.K., N.M.E., Blaqwater, Hustle Hard, Jeyetik, Gritty 50, and Laborynth" to name a few ... Currently I am working with Jik, The LEVEL, and GOTTHO'S creating what I am terming my long overdue masterpiece ... Expect great things from Me, and I promise not to disappoint .... Holla
