We have both liked house music for a long, long, long time. Our personal styles and choices can be currently defined as jazzy, latin, tech and deep house. House is our first style of choice to DJ. We like all the different progressions of drum and base from 1990 forward. From early hardcore to intelligent to ruff raga we like all of it.Lagarde specializes in spinning a wide range of house from deep and soulful to latin and tech house. He also likes to spin old dirty uk breakbeat, Detroit Techno, loud experimental banging, freestyle, and that superb latin flava (Vicente Fernandez anyone?) Played alongside a long list of DJ's from Eli Star to David Alvarado.Shelton specializes in spinning lively, latin and jazzy house, drum and base and and a wide range of soul. He also likes to play dub, earthy, ghetto, spacey atmospheric stuff. Chicago, Miami and New York old school house. Drum and Base that'll destroy your cars back window. Highlights include DJing with Boogiemonster, Keone, DJ Salty and Terrence Toy. Spent early days as a DJ/roadie with N-Zone productions. We are major audiophiles. Both of us have massive amounts of rock(Rodney James Dio, Butthole Surfers to Black Flag), hip hop(from Low Profile, King T, Rodney O and Joe Colley, Schooly D, to MC Lyte, Medusa, Bahamadia, Lady of Rage, and Rah Digga to DITC crew, Freestyle Fellowship, Ed O.G., E-Rule, YZ, Sons of Bezerk, Ras Kass, The Gravediggas and Stetsasonic. We love the Wild pitch label stuff, Elektra and Mercury label stuff, Death row, Relativity, Priority, Jive, Loud, Nervous, Eastern confrence, Rawkus and Stones Throw.), 80's(Morrisey, The Cure, Art of Noise, Alphaville, Tears for Fears) and other soundscapes of life in our vinyl collections.
