Concept
You don't normally see more than one DJ actually DJ'in at any one time. For most double acts, one DJ will mix a tune and then will pass the headphones to the other to mix a tune. Pretty boring stuff. Then you might get some DJ's linking numerous mixers together to try and mix at the same time with different stuff - Its not practical to do this.
So what's the idea of having more than one DJ at a time? Up to now, there hasn't been much point. But what if 2 DJ's could work at that same time using only 1 mixer and the same decks between them? You could create some real funky, energy filled sets. One DJ could mix a track, whilst the second DJ cues acapellas, drop beats, scratches, etc, etc.
House DJ's going back-2-back with Hip Hop DJ's - Scratch vs Scratch, Live DJ's alongside CDJ's, the list is endles. You could truely have the best DUAL DJ competitions and allow DJ's to work smoothly and hassle-free alongside each other.
Invention
The Q2 DUAL DJ. A piece of DJ technology that will completely revloutionize clubland to allow DJ's to work alongside each other with ease, letting them piece together perfect sets with acapellas, beats and more tunes dropped, to perform tricks that are completely impossible for a single DJ to do alone.
Perfect for multi deck DJ's, the Q2 DUAL DJ mk1 allows up to 4 inputs and and the mk2 has 8, so if that's not enough for you, you're just being greedy! The Mk1 is perfect for DJ's doing World Tours due its compact size whereas The Mk2 is for permanant install. It has 6 inputs on the rear and 2 on the front to allow laptops and other devices to be plugged in. This eliminates the need to mess around at the back of the mixer to install your laptop, just plug in the front and away you go.
Once installed, the Q2 allows the second DJ to cue and listen to other decks without disturbing the DJ who's mixing from the original mixer. When the tune or acapella is ready, just use the mixer as normal to cut or mix it in. Easy. The Q2 was designed and built by Lee Jones together with one of the worlds leading manufacturers of audio equipment and is about to gain the approval from some of the worlds top DJ's.
This is a must have piece of DJ equipment that should be installed as standard in every major bar and club worldwide.
