Born in the mid-sixties to the biggest hockey state in the US, Minnesota, Truely beloved by hockey fans and sports fans throughout Minnesota and the United States. With the bright Green and Gold they helped to create a wider array of color back into the uniforms of NHL teams. The North Stars were able to pull off incredible seasons in both 1981 and 1991 and made it to the Stanley Cup finals but were unable to win either of these championships. Unfortunately the team moved to Dallas in the mid-nineties where they have done very well and have won a Stanley Cup. Though Minnesota now has a very promising squad in the Minnesota Wild, it will be very hard to replace, if not impossible to replace, the Minnesota North Stars.
