Well i come from New Zealand "Land of the long white cloud" they say that because it's all way's raining.Any way's J.R-Funk also known as illskills or jamin has had a taste for music since the age of 8 years old playing the clarinet, drums and as well as the bass guitar.Leaving his home of New Zealand to follow a life in the music industry,He was picked up under the wings of such dj’s as James Canning and Ben Cooper from mybar. And this is where he learnt the skills of blending soul lounge and funky house to create his own style of mixing.
