Joey Mojo’s Bio
A Sydney boy born and bred, growing up in the inner west suburb of Strathfield in Sydney. Music was always going to be a huge part of Joey Mojo's life. After traveling the world Joey Mojo settled down on the QLD city of the Gold Coast. Here steadily establishing his name as one of the up and coming DJ's. Having matured from the head thumping sounds of Happy Hardcore and Trance Joey Mojo concentrated his musical selection to Deep House, Tech House, Jackin West Coast, The quickly evolving genre Electro, and rediscovering his roots of RnB through Funky/Soulful Vocal House and Underground Bootlegs.
Influenced by World renowned DJ's/Producers Herve, Kaskade, Chuck Love, Jesse Rose, Switch, Sinden, Micky Slim and Sydney DJ's Kate Monroe and Jonathan Wall (Sublime) Joey Mojo's Funky yet Deep sets earned him residencies at Opium Lounge Bar and Watergate Lounge Bar in Broadbeach. Here also successfully holding the South East Queensland Flair Tending Comp with Kurt Smith. And also gracing the pool at Sofitel Gold Coast through the summer of '06, and introducing a sexy soul to the very classy Q1 Skybar & Room 81 Sofitel Broadbeach in '07.After teaming up with the Toomba Records crew of Giv, Fusion and Gerry Morales, Joey Mojo was able to tune his skills and bust into the Nightclub scene.
Joey Mojo broke into the club scene at Baja on the southern end of the Gold Coast unleashing his Jacking-Funk-Electro sound, turning the Upstairs Cocktail Lounge into a room of its own and supporting international & local DJ's:

Whilst his Lounge sets provide chilled out, deep, soulful, vocal house that flirts with funk and soul and a touch of latin spice.
