Since their E.P. Launch in March 2008; the Phonatics have been working hard on Remixes for various Artists and Labels. In April, they remixed ‘Disco Infected’ for Dirty Laundry, the song hit 10 in the ARIA Club Chart and remained in the chart for 17 weeks. In August they remixed Electro F's ‘Superstar Break’ for the One Love Label. Phonatics also Remixed Steve Hart and K2’s ‘Backroom DJs’ which was released through Sydney Label BamBam Muzik in September and was in the ARIA Club Chart Chart for over 14 weeks.
As for there own material, in September Phonatics released ‘Take Control’ which features the vocals of Costa Zacharia. The track was signed to the Generation Label. ‘Take Control’ received strong support from local and interstate DJs and even managed to break in to the Amercian market, hitting the top 20 in the Amercian masspool.com charts. In January 2009 Adelaide Radio Station Fresh FM hosted a countdown of the Top 92 songs of 2008. Take Control came in at number 45!
There latest offering ‘Relief’ once again features the vocals of Costa Zachariah and this time they have gone for a more progressive sound with amazing vocals and a rocking bassline, this tune was released February 2009.
P-Money's new track ‘Angels’ has recently received the Remix treatment from Phonatics. The full package was released on DJ Promo Thursday March 12th. The track is a follow up to his smash hit ‘Everything’ and if early radio play is anything to go by this tune is going to be huge! Keep an eye out for the original on all good radio stations and check out our Remix on the music player above.
With a ton of new tracks ready to drop soon, Phonatics have no intentions of slowing down. They are currently booking an Australian tour for the second half of 2009 promoting there unique sound and showing that as well as being successful producers they are also a highly talented DJ duo.
