Cecil Shaw

Motown Icon

About Me

Cecil Shaw Jr. was born on December 15, 1947 to Cecil Shaw Sr. and Ann Shaw. He had been saturated with charisma and talent from birth. Born into the generation and lifestyle of Motown, Cecil was destined for stardom. Cecil Shaw Sr. set the stage for his young name sake, through his ultimate passion for music and entertainment. He taught his son every facet of business, which makes him the enterprising man he is today. Upon his fathers passing, Cecil Jr. kept the family tradition alive. He went on to carry his fathers torch as he topped the charts with musical legends such as Stevie Wonder, Main Ingredient, Norman Conners, 5th Dimension, and none other than Ray Charles himself. He continued on his journey with hard work and diligence with many other artists, including those from the Motown era. Now the name Cecil Shaw brings smiles and memories to the faces and minds of Baby Boomers and youth alike. Cecil has toured every major city across the continental U.S.; and as he set their stages ablaze, he took some time to show Europe just who Cecil Shaw Jr. really is. Within the last 5 years, he has been honored with coveted titles to his credit such as winning the UPN 20 Motown Live Talent Contest and performing the past five years Dancing in the Street that is presented at the Miller Outdoor Theater by Motown. Currently Cecil is working to bridge the gap between yesterdays talent with todays vision. He is producing an ALL STYLZ VARIETY SHOW which entails a 16 week series of reality talent that will be aired on national television. The project is under works and is being considered by several networks like Fox26/UPN20. With that being said, watch as this icon of Motown utilize his God given talents to show and remind the world what true talent really is!Layout made by xMiSSYxCHRiSSYx at CreateBlog.com . .r{}
