Rainwagon

IT'S THE SAME BUT DIFFERENT.

About Me

ABOUT RAINWAGON: In 2001, Nita Smith, who decided she needed something more out of life, went out and purchased a bass guitar. After a good friend shared a little knowledge about the bass (this is how you hold it, this is an E string, etc…) she was off and running--playing that bass in her kitchen and stirring the soup pot. Within a few months she’d conned a few friends into jamming, and soon discovered you could lose track of a song if nobody was singing. Soon, Nita began to sing and received positive feedback from folks. At first she thought they were being polite, but eventually came to the conclusion that she was doing ok. She decided she wanted to give this music thing a shot. After searching a while she was lucky enough to land Tom Williams on guitar & Tim Belk on drums and Rainwagon was born. To this day, Nita feels like she doesn't know what the hell she's doing, but she keeps trying and is having loads of fun, and she still stirs her soup pot.

Ok, I confess, this is my first ever blog.  Yeah, yeah... I'm a  little slow getting caught up with the rest of the world, but I sort of like it that way.  That's what I think is unique...
