Camping, watching our home town hockey team games (BCHL)(We made Hockeyville this year), kareokee, going to ECCW shows or WWE shows(wrestling), plays, swimming, airshows, watching bull riding(rodeos), watching live Improv, spending time with my daughter, husband and true friends.
Always willing to meet more friends though I have a hard time trusting people as of late. Please respect my wishes when I say I am only here for friends. If you are looking for more, you have come to the wrong place and are looking at the wrong profile. If I wanted to meet somebody famous, I'm not too sure who it would be. I think I would be too chicken to say anything to them even though they are people just like us, only with an extra special talent or gift. If I had to choose a few people it would be Amelia Earhart. Batista from the WWE. Criss Angel and David Blaine because they perform the best updated magic ever that just blows my mind. Tom Welling, Owen Wilson, Barry Pepper, Vin Diesel, Cuba Gooding Jr. and I guess if I had a deathwish I would also have to say Vlad The Impaler a.k.a. Dracula.
I am pretty diverse when it comes to music. I prefer country, a cappella and anything 80's, but will listen to just about anything except heavy/death metal and opera(unless it's a musical). The Nylons, Garth Brooks, Antonio Banderas, Susan Aglukark, Terry Kelly, Dierks Bentley, Rascal Flatts, Alabama, Diamond Rio, Lonestar, ABBA, The Rankin Family, Amanda Marshall, MacKeel, Gavin Hope, Neil Diamond, Creed...just to name a bit of what I listen to, though the list goes on.
Diary Of A Mad Black Woman, Footloose, Cable Guy, Dominick and Eugene, Failure To Launch, Top Gun, Secondhand Lions, Clerks 1 and 2, Jaws(all of them), Rat Race, Men Of Honour, Memphis Belle, Mrs. Doubtfire, Wildflower, Boat Trip, Full Metal Jacket, North Country, Enemy At The Gates, Battlefield Earth, Basic, Superman(with Christopher Reeves), Stand By Me, Hotel Rwanda, The Color Purple, I Am Sam, Special People, Rainman, Radio, Molly, Phat Girlz, Monty Python And The Search For The Holy Grail, anything with vampires in it, The Christmas Story(Red Rider BB Gun), Snow Walker, Forrest Gump, Waking Ned Divine, all Cuba Gooding Jr. movies, Saw 1 and Saw 2, X-Men 1-3, The Punisher, Unbreakable, Kingpin, Shaun Of The Dead, Stand By Me, Borat, House Of "D", Blue Collar Comedy Tour 1,2 and 3, all medieval movies.........
I have a lot of favorite shows when I have a chance to watch them: Most Haunted, Smallville, Myth Busters, Desperate Housewives, WWE(World Wrestling Entertainment), Criss Angel's MindFreak, American Chopper, Mr. Bean, Are You Being Served, Keeping Up Appearances, Toronto Bluejays baseball games and Vancouver Canuck hockey games. Forever Knight, Degrassi Jr. High, All In The Family and Three's Company re-runs. I hate reality TV except for Surreal Life when there is a new series running. Watched Survivor once and hate it.
I love reading anything by Stephen King. Vampire and horror novels are my favorite though sometimes I enjoy non-fiction as well. My favorite book is In The Eyes Of The Dragon by Stephen King. Since I had my daughter I haven't been able to find the time to read. Lately I have been able to pick up reading again and have forgotten how much I've missed it. Currently reading, "In The Name Of The Vampire" by Mary Ann Mitchell.
Hmmm, I'd have to say my Mom because she raised me on her own for so long. My Grandpa for being my only positive male role model when I was growing up and teaching me the importance of Remembrance Day. My best friend who is a paramedic. My daughter for putting a smile on my face and in my heart every day. My Husband and I for still being in love with each other and still wanting to be a family after everything that has happened. Ryan White. The Famous People Players, Dianne Dupuy and anyone else who makes a positive difference in the world. And especially whoever wrote this quote:"Be very careful if you make a woman cry, because God counts her tears. The woman came out of a man's rib. Not from his feet to be walked on. Not from his head to be superior, but from the side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved."
