I basically had joined Myspace just to be able to relate and communicate with my son, Realmdrifter. It has turned out to be his main source of communication, or shall we say, pre-occupation. Since I've signed up, I have been able to enjoy more of my interests and friends than I ever imagined. I admit to being addicted! I feel as though I'm able to venture out more, and meet a variety of new people. Thanks Realmdrifter! Who says you can't teach a parent new tricks! As for describing "About Me"? I honestly don't know. I'd have to have other people tell me what they think "About Me". I know we view ourselves differently from the way other people see us... yet like my son, I believe I have a good sense of humour. There's also the fact that I'm married to the Redneck..so we'd best add survival skills to the mix...Never a dull moment with those two, I can tell you! I'm told I'm intelligent, but.....I don't do anything with it. I guess I sit back and just enjoy my life. When I was young, I spent most of my life outdoors. Camping, hiking, fishing, snowshoes, snowmobiling, jeeping (Born in Vermont, snow country, couldn't you tell?). I still feel it in my bones, it's a part of me. Being a military spouse for close to twenty years, and becoming a Mom with responsibilities, changed the adventurer in me to more settled down (by necessity). All though, while at Andrews AFB, my Ex and I took every chance we could to bring Realmdrifter and his friends up to Shenandoah to camp and learn the outdoor ways. I had hoped to settle there, but the Great spirit chose another path for me to walk.
I am now settled in Florida with the Redneck. It's been a long journey, but we are very blessed. Realmdrifter recently moved back home to us, and we are continuing our adventures, and learning process together!
