I am Mom to two bright, funny, gorgeous teenagers, and one crazy dog who all get a kick out of driving me NUTS! Thank God for prayer and psychotropic medication!! I am a FLAMING DEMOCRAT and PROUD OF IT! I have a love/hate relationship with irony...it's kicked my ass more than once. I am creative, funny, sarcastic, neurotic, a little eccentric, and am always up for an adventure. I love being silly. I especially love to use ... and !!! in sentences! I feel that laughter is the greatest gift you can ever share with another human being. Although I try to hide it, I am very sensitive and get hurt easily. I feel that loyalty is everything in a friendship...and a family. I also think it is a rare quality these days...sadly. I believe I am a very loyal person. I like that about me. My favorite color is purple. I believe that color encompasses my personality well too...passionate. I love to express myself creatively...through photography, poetry, performing arts, or just by doing something nice and out of the way for someone else. I have my faults, but don't we all? The things I choose to change about myself will be my choice and not anyone elses! For those of you who don't understand that concept yet...FIND A NEW HOBBY! Oh, yeah...I tend to blurt things out...like Tourette's, but it's not, it's just who I am. I do have a good heart though and that should count for something, somewhere, with someone...shouldn't it? I make no apologies for who I am. This is me...get used to it!

When it comes to music, I am pretty eclectic. I especially enjoy blues, folk...music with soul that tells a story. I like alternative, classic rock, some punk, country, and even some rap too. (not the kind that hates on women or promotes violence though!) Specific artists that I enjoy include: Joss Stone, Counting Crows, Matchbox 20, Alanis Morrisette, Melissa Etheridge, John Mayer, Dave Mathews, Paul Simon, Edie Brickell, Carly Simon, James Taylor, Cyndi Lauper, Suzanne Vega, Van Morrison, Carol King, Billy Joel (Pre Christie Brinkley, if ya know what I mean!), Bob Seger, Jann Arden, Christina Aguilera, B.B. King, Norah Jones, Beatles, Led Zeplin, Chrissy Hynde (The Pretenders) ...there are tons more and I will add to this list as they come to me. I LOVE MUSIC!!!

Movies:

My Life As A House, KPAX, Pay It Forward, Girl Interrupted, Unfaithul, Frances Farmer, Fried Green Tomatoes, 40 Year Old Virgin, Bubble Boy, Moving, Seven, Hair, Jesus Christ Superstar, oh, and don't forget Pee Wee Herman's Big Adventure. There are just too many great movies to list, so I've missed more than a few of my favorites!

Television:

REALITY T.V. KICKS ASS! Oh, and House is great too. I'm going to marry that crazy Doctor one day!!

Books:

I love e.e. cummings, Maya Angelou, Dr. Seuss, President Clinton, Hillary Clinton, and so many other authors/poets. I love reading and have way too many to list!

Heroes:

Single Moms and anyone who dares to be themself, especially when it is hard 'cuz that is when it matters most!
