About Me

I like do-ers: people who get things done! I love a good laugh. I like honest people who speak what is on their mind. I like all kinds of puzzles and mind games. I love to learn... I adore Salvador Dali's art.
I love "cookies and cream" ice cream, and I hate it when people talk during movies! The words a writer takes the time to meticulously write are as equally as important to a movie as are the actors speaking them.
I admire Jodie Foster. I think Joe Eszterhas is the man of the century. I think olives are disgusting, and I think people who don’t care what other people think about them... are inspirations to us all.

Heather Freedman was born in Honolulu, Hawaii and raised in Wilmington, North Carolina by a family who has been in showbiz for over 100 years. Her great-grandparents were in Vaudeville and the circus, and her grandparents toured the U.S. performing magic shows and variety acts.
After starring in high school plays & musicals, Heather went on to major in Theatre at East Carolina University; home to Sandra Bullock, Emily Proctor, Kevin Williamson, Beth Grant, and Christian Keiber. As a freshman, she was chosen to appear in the annual "Freshman Workshop" showcasing her many talents and gained wide acceptance from her peers and the acting community. While at ECU, she performed in over 20 productions such as "My Fair Lady," "Picnic," and "Barefoot in the Park," helped write and choreograph "Bad Ballet I," and starred in the hilarious comedy "Noises Off."
After graduating "Summa Cum Laude" with a B.A. in Theatre and a minor in Communications, Heather traveled to Los Angeles, and within a few months of her arrival was handpicked by Nora Ephron for the movie BEWITCHED (2005) starring Nicole Kidman and Will Ferrell. Heather then went on to star in a number of independent films including "Rockabye" which was accepted into the Blue Grass Independent Film Festival and has been considered for numerous leads in sitcoms. Heather starred in Penny Penniston's award winning play "Now Then Again" at Noah Wyle's Blank Theatre in LA and is a member of Los Angeles' prestigious organization, Women in Film.
Heather has recently been approached by CREATIVE ALLEY PRODUCTIONS to work in their upcoming film projects and is currently producing her first award-winning independent film. Heather has also starred in commercials for "IKEA" and "VIETA COFFEE."
