About Me

The 'Dog' has been though many changes. The group found it's ultimate synergy of players in 2004. It's current line up realised the debut album "Mad Stream" in 2005. Opened the "Jazz Now" Festival at the Sydney Opera House in September 2005, sharing the bill with New York drum legend Jim Black. The album was mentioned in The Sydney Morning Heralds "Top 80" of 2005.

Influences: In no specific order and not that the music sounds like it. Miles Davis, Fela Kuti, Antonio Carlos Jobim, King Tubby, The Beatles, Gyorgy Ligeti, Thomas Mapfumo, Ornette Coleman.
Sounds Like: Like a bunch of guys who love improvising inside rock, funk, jazz and ambient settings and appreciate a good melody and a solid groove.
