About Me

Denny Hill...pre-grade.

My Interests

Disinterests/suggestions: People, myspace people, please keep your clothes on! fellas and ladies...no nearly or, indeed, topless shots. It's gross and you look quite undignified. So, please, unless you are hilariously deformed, like me and my tits...keep it covered.

I'd like to meet:

my youth again, by owning one copy each:Deep Wound EP (w/insert) Negative Approach EP (which I once owned by traded away like a jack ass) Youth Brigade EP (DC) Double O EP (need an upgrade) Teen Idols EPmessage me if you got 'em!

Music:

You really don't wanna get me started, BUT...'60s sike, garage (rock!), pop sike, sunshine pop, '60s pop, freakbeat, '60s soul, boogaloo, Northern Soul, Deep Soul, soul SOUL, '70s glam, '70s punk, '80s hardcore, mid '80s um...alternative is such a stupid word, but late '80s and early '90s indie/noise (think like SST/AmRep)...folk blues, pre AND POST war, DANG! What you think I'm a jerk? and some electric blues...nothing really past '75 tho'. I mean, HONESTLY! I hate disco and electronica...unless it's the Silver Apples. And even they did get old...I mean like, they are North Eastern guys...right, so, of course, they eventually grew mullets. Which is lame, redneck...and COUNTER revolutionary. And I hate R&B/soul post, like, 1972...c'mon, once Gamble/Huff reinvented SOUL as we KNEW IT no one else was smart enough to reinvent it again, or even come up with ANY new sound! Hip hop not-withstanding, but even THAT has turned into a laughably redundant cash/image machine...but I was never really into anyways. What else? I dunno...like, really after Teengenerate came and went ROCK as some-THING died, you know. It was the end of ROCK as "new." It's not that NU bands all suck, but they often do. Sorry. DIY? Done It Yesterday. Damn It's Yucky. See, I shouldn'ta gotten started.

Movies:

Star Wars...all of it! uh...the Monkees Head! MC5 A True Testimonial! crap...I usually can't sit still long enough to watch a movie.

Television:

The Weather Channel, Simpsons, Family Guy, South Park...and i'm a recent convert to Seinfeld reruns, so I've not seen them all, JEALOUS?...wait, oh, and CSI, Vegas...but I have WAY too many records I wanna play to sit and watch TV.

Heroes:

Brent Smith. David Bamford. Towelie. My bicycle and my turntable.
