About Me

About me...hmmm where do I begin? I am a happenin' 24 year old from Kentucky. I am totally sold out to Christ and I enjoy hanging out with all of my "bonded and specific" hommies! You know who you are! I am a graduate of Kentucky Wesleyan College or aka K'Dub for those of us who have the pleasure of attending there. I graduated in December of 2005 and now it is off to grad school. I am a student at Asbury Theological Seminary pursuing a degree in Christian Education! I have a fabulous job! I am the Henderson County Even Start Coordinator. I teach kids how to read and stress the importance of reading together as a family! I have two of the greatest parents in the world. (I am a mommy and a daddy's girl!) I have a few very close friends that I love more than words could express! Hugs to all of you:)! If you wanna know more just ask me!

My Interests

I enjoy almost everything! I have lots of interests. I am really quite obsessed with Disney World and traveling in general. I am a HUGE Chris Tomlin fan and I love catching his worship sessions when I can! I also LOVE to sing and perform.

Music:

I am huge Christian Music fan. I love Chris Tomlin, David Crowder Band, Matt Redman, Charlie Hall, Christy and Nathan Nockels, SCC, Warren Barfield, Darlene Zschech and Hillsong, Shane and Shane, Michael W. Smith, Avalon, Point of Grace, Chris Rice...just to name a few.

Movies:

My favorite movie is "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory!" Umpa Lumpa dupity do I've got another puzzle for you...

Television:

I never get to watch enough TV; however, I love to watch anything on the Food Network such as Paula Deen and Food Network Challenge. I also enjoy CSI (the original,ER and House!

Books:

I like to read for enjoyment when I have the time, which is not very often! I like to read anything that would enhance my daily walk with Christ. I really enjoy books by Beth Moore, Max Lucado, Donald Miller, John Piper, and last but certainly not least Louie Giglio. I also love all of the Harry Potter books and children's books since children's literacy has ingulfed my career! I have two favorite children's books as of now...If I Found a Wistful Unicorn, and You Are Special.

Heroes:

I have bunches of heros. Of course, Christ is my ultimate hero! He has taken the blame for my sin and shame!I have a few other heroes both of my parents....my "friends" (ha ha) the Gardner's (Brian is truly the best friend and mentor that anyone could have and Kristin, well we all know Kristin, no really, she is a godly professional woman that I aspire to be like!), and the Hartman's. (They were awesome during high school and still continue to bless me with their craziness. Did I tell you how much I love their daughters Hailey and Hattie? A little too much, I think!)I would also have to say Louie Giglio is another of my heros in a special way. God has totally used Louie to impact my life. Through Louie's faithful ministry, God has used his books, talks, and Passion to move and mold me into HIS service. I got to meet Louie and his best friend Chris @ the GMA's and I was honored, thrilled, and humbled to meet such men on fire for Christ.
