Kristian Stanfill

i grew up in marietta ga on robinson road. now i live in cumming ga where there are alot of farms. it got to crazy and loud in marietta for my wife kerri and i. we've been married for almost three years. we have a 4 month old son named isaac. he's pretty incredible. he has my feet and his eyes smile like mine. i've been playing guitar and singing since i was about 13. i remember filling up spiral notebooks full of songs before i even knew what chords i was playing. i would make up names for the chords that i now know to be G C D Em and D/F. those songs weren't very good...but you don't just wake up and start writing great songs. i still love to write. i know a few more chords now. i'm not especially good at communicating with words sometimes...so i do it with music. now im a little better at forming a sentance but i still usually let the songs speak for themselves. i'm in a band with 3 of my best friends. alex, joe, tim and i travel and play music all over. we're all very different people but we work together pretty well. im not sure exactly what im going to do as a songwriter or singer, or what wer'e going to do as a band, but i believe it's going to be different. im going to keep writing the songs and dreaming the dreams that are given to me and take one step at a time.
