About Me
We bring together an exciting group of artist/ educators from around the metro (Kansas City) who represent the positive elements of Hip Hop and Urban Arts in General.Current Instructors / recent Collaborators are; J. McConnell, Brother of Moses, Negro Scoe, T. Blaze, DJ Mythik, DJ Leonard D Stroy, Stacey Tolbert, Gustavo Aybar, DJ Joc Max, DJ Yady, Joe Good,Info, Pat Rocha Jr., Innate Sounds Crew, Symbol Heavy Crew, Gear, Audio 57, Sha9agin, Cat Johnson, Urban Cross, Nrg, Al Burnes...With hands on workshop style classes; in Emceeing , Deejaying / Turntablism, Hip Hop Foundation Dance / Latin / Hip Hop Fusion Dance, Poetry / Creative Writing, Mural Art / Street Art / Drawing & Painting, Hip Hop / Music History.We are giving youth ages 10-15 a way to express themselves as creative individuals, build self respect, learn a variety of art forms, as well as be part of a larger community that supports creative expression, hard work, collaboration, patience, vision, honesty, integrity, and many other positive uplifting attributes.We are the mobile arts and outreach project of The CREATIVE MIND COMMUNITY ART CENTER / TYCOR COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT as well as part of the CHAMELEON ARTS CONSORTIUM.We work with youth at area Libraries, Schools, Community Centers, as well as hosting Hip Hop Jams, Art and other Fun Community events for all ages!!!!!!!If you want to get involve or donate time or money get back to us...we are doing a lot with a little funds!!!
