About Me

Hey what's up. My name is John, also known as DJ Country Fresh. I just got back from Iraq and life is sweeter then candy. Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born in Ann Arbor Michigan, and I have lived there all my life. I love it until it gets cold. I hate cold. I have a Burgundy 1969 Lincoln Mark III, a biege 1958 Mercury Monterey, and a beat-up, ghetto-rigged, bass-thumping, cross-wired, rust-ridden, drop top 1992 LeBaron, none of which I can ever get a girl to ride in. Oh well. I enjoy the simple things in life. Getting drunk, spending time with my family, going to hip-hop shows, and trying to stay on the right side of the law. I have a small record collection, and a small old-school Adidas sneaker line-up, and I've been collecting Hot Wheels since I was 3. I was one of the very few (if not the only) DJ's in Iraq with actual vinyl records. I'm all about turntablism, digging through dusty record stores for those dollar-bin gems, watching MC's cold rock a show, look at graffiti, buy crap on eBay I don't need, hit car shows, go cruising, severe weather, take pictures of stuff and so on. Hit me up.God Bless, John (DJ Country Fresh aka Steamboat) Top down seats back, redo.

My Interests

I've got alot: Crate Digging, Live Shows, Making Beats, Scratching Records, Sampling records, looking for records, holding records, smelling records, buying records, running around drunk, mooning folks, growing sideburns, then shaving them off, classic car shows, severe weather, photography, lowriders and kustoms (Astro Supremes, pinner whites, fat whites, bass boat flake, spots, flame-throwers, angel hair, club plaques, steelies, lace roofs, hydraulics, airbags, frame-draggers. NOT billet crap, "Rat Rods" on red steel wheels with raised white letter tires, $200,000 trailor queens, rice-rockets, and sprewells.)Yelling out the car window at people walking by is probably my favorite, though. I'm damn good at it, too.

I'd like to meet:

B-people, Graff Artists, Crate Diggers, Masters of Ceremonies, Beatmakers, Turntablists, Photographers, Soldiers and families of Soldier's, Storm Chasers, Party Animals, Car Customizers, Writers, Cool Cats, Fly Honeys and anyone who loves this shit as much as I do.
