These are songs from my album "I will dance where the asphalt glides". It contains lots of love but also pain, just like life I guess.
Much of the recording was done at friend's homes in Icelandic and Norwegian villages, Reykjavík and Copenhagen over the period of two years. If you listen closely you can hear my friend's kids playing, someone making coffee and maybe trains passing by along with the squeaking of a timber floor in the apartment next to Copenhagen Central Train station where we recorded the piano parts.
If you pay close attention you can hear the squeaking of a bass drum pedal and breathing of the tuba player. You will also hear many different things like a Roland drum machine feeding the pulse along with a big concert bass drum, big toms and other marching drum elements. Mix this with a nice blend of Wurlitzer and Hammond keyboards, pawnshop guitars and brass elements. All of which is revolving around my simple songs and Icelandic lyrics.
Lyrics are available for each song with translations for the non-Icelandic listener. (Serbian translation is in the works)
Now glide away my thoughts, free at last!

Music is a moral law. It gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness, gaiety and life to everything. It is the essence of order, and leads to all that is good, just and beautiful, of which it is the invisible, but nevertheless dazzling, passionate, and eternal form.
