Dave Eastgate aka Easty-G-Funk-Mac-Diddy-Shnizzel-Whacky is the love child of waxed lyrics & pure, adulterated, ROCK N' FREAKIN' ROLL! Having broken the shackles of circumstance, Eastgate's unique brand of musical-comedy has taken him around the globe & has quite literally BLOWN MINDS in New York, LA, Toronto, London, Glasgow & Edinburgh. In Japan, Dave is an official DEITY after he performed there for four years @ Universal Studios Japan in the sprawling, modern metropolis of Osaka, as a skateboarding minstrel. Such is his popularity in the orient that every year on the 31st day of the 1st month, they celebrate his genius with bouts of sumo & barrels of state sanctioned sake. The gods of truth have recently commanded Eastgate, oft described as the MUSICAL-MESSIAH, to get "back to his roots" & reside in the mecca of golden tunes & platinum hits, Brisbane, until such time that he may ride the speed-metal-glory-train through the heavy, iron-clad gates of valhalla!!! In the meantime Dave has spent time writing scripts for Big Brother Friday Night Live as well as doing the audience warm up for FNL, Nominations and Evictions. The rumours of an affair with Mike Goldman are unfounded and untrue, though highly erotic. Film credits include a starring role in the soon to be released, Chris Nyst feature, "Crooked Business" and while he only appers in one short scene and speaks all of 4 lines, the performance is the highlight of the film, nay, the film industry. His favourite yoghurt is Boysenberry.
