TUNNELS - - - Tunnels is a futuristic fusion trio featuring legendary frettless bassist Percy Jones. Percy came into the spotlight in the 70s and 80s with the UK's biggest fusion phenomenon BRAND X, featuring Phil Collins on drums. Joining him on the electronic midi vibraphone is Swiss virtuoso Mark Wagnon. Mark has paid his dues with many jazz greats and plays one of the worlds most unique and cutting-edge intruments. Last but not least is drummer Walker Adams who brings his explosive and soulful sound to the band. - - -
THE WALKER ADAMS BAND - - - The Walker Adams band is an organic, soul-funk group that performs all original music. The band's bluesy, bumping horn lines sing over driving
funk and r&b grooves to create a rich environment for soul searching
and collective improvisation. The Walker Adams Band's latest EP,
"Ignition," features David Lee Jones (alto sax), Gerald Brazel (trumpet)
from Digable Planets, Frank Locrasto (keys) from Jeremy Pelt, Mac
Price (guitar) from Stratospherious, and Ari Folman-Cohen (bass) from
Jennifer Hartswick. - - -
JOYENGIN - - - JoyEngin is an experimental one-man-band that is pushing the envelope of the solo musical performance. Vermonter-turned-Brooklynite, Walker Adams, plays drums, keyboard, and sings simultaneously, combining funk and drum 'n bass beats with catchy, synth bass lines. Vivid and poignant lyrics bring intellectual substance to make this act both visually astounding and emotionally impacting. From sour love song lines like "I don't trust you baby, 'cause I can see you're not honest with yourself", to inspirational rhymes like "Free your mind, step in time, the higher you climb, the more you will find", JoyEngin seeks to express the full spectrum of the human experience.
