Sounds Like: Those who know what they're talking about tell me they hear John Scofield and Grant Green in my playing. They'd be right. I also think Dexter Gordon has influenced me a lot, and James Brown's bands and The Meters general feel and groove are something I always strive to emulate.
The band is easily compared to early Soulive, sometimes the Meters. I envision us as a group paying homage to and respecting the pioneers of our genre, while incorporating our own experiences and influences, whatever they might be or have been.
