Sounds Like: Put five horn players, a drummer and two percussionists, a bass player and a keyboardist together and what you automatically get is Jazz and Latin music.
But that wouldn't be enough to describe their music. The world of music has a lot more to offer, as there is Funk, Ethno, Reggae; Blues, Soul, Rai, Afro, Hip-Hop, and ... and ... and ...
There's a bit of everything in the Hot Cargo sound provided, it sounds good and it's got the groove. Variety is part of the band's concept and therefore requires musicians who really know how to play their instruments.
It is music beyond categories for experienced listeners with open-minded ears who enjoy intoxication by groove.
