I am currently fixated on the music of the Cruxshadows. Hot goth/ EBM band out of Florida. Also enjoy Nightwish, Ego Likeness, Corvus Corax, and Evanescence. I am old enough to remember 80's hair metal and loved every minute of it.
I'm a big sci-fi fan. Call it escapism if you must, but I think a lot of movies in this genre go unnoticed due to their themes. Check one out if you haven't already. I used to go watch strictly for the special/ visual FX. Its cool to see things go 'boom' and and such, but once you know the tricks, the magic seems a little cheap. Now I go to the movies to see a good story. Doesn't matter if its sci-fi, comedy, horror, drama, or even the "chick flick". If the story is good, Ill watch it. When pressed for a list, I would have to include: Star Wars (all), Mr. Hollands Opus, Rennaisance Man, Superman ('78), X-Men (all), Love Actually, Lord of the Rings Trilogy, North by Northwest, Men of Honor, Hiding Out, Chasing Amy, and The Cutting Edge
Use it mainly to watch DVD's. Catch a "reality" show here and there, but I don't have the "Super Duper, It'll even cook you breakfast" cable package so choice is limited. Besides, I'll grab it off the net somewhere if its really important anyway. I do enjoy Greys Anatomy, Lost, Heroes, Survivor, and CSI
Those are the things with all the paper in the middle, right? Actually, I do read. I like things that deal with historys myths and fantasys. Things that made our forefathers think, Greek and Roman Mythology, Knights Templar, Secret societies, stuff by Umberto Ecko..., the Shadowrun Novels, and books that deal with the making of movies.
Perhaps its a cliche', but i'm gonna have to say my parents here. They have stood by me, even when they new I was about to screw up. Guess who caught me when I fell?
