About Me

Eternal Winter was created in 2002 by founding members Matthew Knight and Gordon Burchell. The music is a style of True Epic Fantasy Power Metal which features a great deal of technical guitar leads, symphonic keyboards, rockin' riffs, soaring vocals, dramatic narrations and epic chorus lines. The band's lyrics are based around a deep and intense fantasy concept story that tells the tale of a valorous knight's epic journey across the magical lands of Eternal Winter. The bands theatrical stage performance and melodic vocal arrangements have made them one of the most unique metal bands in the area. Eternal Winter has opened for such major international acts as: STRATOVARIUS, KAMELOT, LEAVES EYES, SONATA ARCTICA, FIREWIND and MARC RIZZO. The band is currently working on the New Epic EP that will be out Summer 2008!!! Don't miss Eternal Winter on March 28th at "My Brother's Place" performing alongside our heavy metal brothers in arms TIMELORD and FIRE IN BABYLON!
