Torn Ticket Productions 10th anniversary

About Me

Torn Ticket Productions was formed in 1997 as a vehicle to manage and promote Michael Bruce, guitarist and chief songwriter of Alice Cooper (Alice Cooper are Alice Cooper (vocals), Michael Bruce(guitar), Glen Buxton (lead guitar), Neal Smith (drums), Dennis Dunaway (bass)). Michael was with Torn Ticket Productions for three action filled years. Highlights were forming The Michael Bruce Group, Michael's acoustic sets, numerous radio interviews, and most especially re-uniting Alice Cooper bandmates Michael, Glen and Neal in October 1997 with incredibly talented guitarist Richie Scarlet for 10 days at Houston culminating in the performances at Billy Blues and Area 51, Glen's last performace ever. The biggest regret was, of course, that Glen died before there was a complete reunion, something that can now never be. But we sure came close, and those accomplishments opened things up for the other members to get together in the years that followed. On December 19, 1998, Alice, Michael and Neal reunited for the first time in over 23 years. And on October 23, 1999 the four surviving members of Alice Cooper, minus Glen, reunited onstage at the 2nd Glen Buxton Memorial Weekend. Videos and photos displayed on this site are courtesy Torn Ticket Productions and are dedicated to the memory of Glen Buxton, rock and roll legend. More videos can be seen at http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=jatras or search youtube for Torn Ticket Productions. TTP Slideshow 1997-1999 Layout Created at Mspremade.com October 2007 is the 10th anniversary of the Houston three-union which was the first regrouping of members of the original Alice Cooper band since their breakup in 1974. And also the intimely death of our friend Glen Buxton. This page has been dedicated to Glen and his memory. After October though it will revert back to just my myspace for good. Some of the artifacts, the slideshow, pictures etc will still be available at the Torn Ticket Productions myspace linked from the ticket on my favorite friends. Best wishes to everyone who sent so many messages of support for our efforts. Regardless of some of the more turmultuous things that happened, knowing Glen in those times as a great honor for me, and the road led me personally to better places in ways I now would not wish it different. I hope you will take Octover 2007 as a time to post your thoughts about Glen here as well as on Glen's Official Myspace, The Glen Buxton Tribute Mysspace, and Torn Ticket Productions myspace, all available as favorite friends from here. Please go to these sites all through October and post your respects for Glen. Thanks again, and Best Always, Jeff Jatras - Torn Ticket Productions.
